This warranty protects you against product defects and failures caused under normal day-to-day use, ensuring your floor performs exactly as it should for the long run.

WHAT OUR WARRANTY COVERS

1. Material or Installation Failure

If there is ever an issue with the materials we used or the way they were applied, we take full responsibility. Two common forms of failure include:

Delamination

The most frequent problem in low-quality epoxy installations. It occurs when the base coat fails to properly bond to the concrete, causing peeling or lifting. If this happens, we fix it.

Physical Abrasion / Damage

Garages and workspaces get used hard — gym equipment, tools, storage, vehicles, and more.
If your floor ever scratches, chips, or cracks down to the concrete, Austin Epoxy Metallic will send a technician to repair it. No questions asked.

WHAT OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ⚠️

While our warranty is designed to protect you from unexpected or accidental issues, transparency matters. The following items are not covered:

1. Customer Negligence

Examples include (but are not limited to):

Stains from hot tires, oil, grease, gasoline, transmission fluid, battery acid, or chemical spills

Discoloration caused by lack of cleaning or misuse of scrubbing/buffing machines

Rust staining from metal objects placed directly on the floor (protective pads or breathable mats must be used)

Damage caused by non-breathable mats, which can trap moisture and discolor the coating

2. Concrete Cracking

No flooring contractor can guarantee against cracks caused by concrete movement such as shifting, settling, heaving, or popping. Coatings cannot prevent structural movement.

3. Waterproofing

While our epoxy systems greatly increase moisture resistance, they are not a waterproofing solution. We do not cover water intrusion or leakage to areas below the slab.
